MIXED-USE
- Peninsula Mixed-use, Monterrey, Mexico. Two office towers totaling 35,000 m² of rentable space, a 156-room business hotel, 200 apartments and lofts above 20,000 m² of retail and restaurants surrounding a destination plaza.
- Acropolis Shops and Residences, Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico. High-end retail, two 20-story towers facing the Sea of Cortez comprising 140 condominum units and 104 live/work lofts above retail podium. Under construction.
- Capital Reforma. Two 25-story towers comprising 30,000 m² of office space, a 160-room boutique hotel, and 105 luxury residences above an active podium of retail, restaurants and outdoor cafes located on Reforma Boulevard, Mexico City. Opening scheduled by Summer 2008.
- UniverseCity, Austin, Texas. Residential, office, resort hotel, restaurants and high-end retail development on the shores of Town Lake. Includes public amenities such as an amphitheater, a boat house and natural trails along the shoreline of the river.
- Terminal Buenavista. Central Grand Train Station of Mexico City comprising a new concourse, train platforms, a three level shopping center and a business hotel. Opening scheduled by Fall 2007.
- Midtown Miami. Offices, art galleries, lofts, restaurants and a public plaza at 1st N.E. Avenue and 36th Street in Miami, Florida.
- Marina Dolphin Masterplan, Okinawa Japan. Retail, Office lofts, residential, resort hotel, and outdoor outlet retail mall development around the new yatch Marina in the city of Ginowan, Okinawa.
- Colorado Springs Mixed-use project. Site planning and architectural design for an intermodal tranportation center (including an indoor bus terminal and a light rail station), a civic plaza, residences, retail, and a 6-story office building in downtown Colorado Springs.
- Paseo Morelia Mixed-use project. Site planning and comprehensive architectural design for a retail, hospitality, entertainment, and residential development in Morelia, Mexico.
- La Isla Puerto Vallarta. Retail and cruiseship terminal for the largest resort destination on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.
- La Isla Acapulco Convention Center. Mixed-use project adjacent to the Acapulco Convention Center and the premier residential towers facing the beaches of Acapulco. Conceptual Design.
- Santo Domingo Mixed-use project. Site planning and architectural design for a 2-story retail podium, two 16-story office towers, two 15-story high-end residential buildings, and a JV Marriot hotel in the financial center of the Dominican Republic. Includes and urban plaza and a luxury car showroom.
- Roppongi Hinoki-cho Mixed-use project, Tokyo, Japan. Master planning for an unusual 7 hectares site located in an exclusive district in the center of Metro Tokyo. Architectural design for a multi-story retail podium, a high-rise 54-story office tower, two mid-rise office buildings, a luxury 5-star hotel, a variety of residential buildings ranging from a 30-story tower to low-rise apartment blocks, two 16-story office towers, two 15-story high-end residential buildings, and a 5-star hotel.
- Takamatsu Mixed-use G-Block Redevelopment, Takamatsu, Japan. 650,000 SF of new construction on the city’s historical main street. Includes a 28-story residential and office tower, and a retail podium shaping an open air plaza and an indoor naturally ventilated atrium. In progress.
- Hayashibara Mixed-use project, Okayama, Japan. Design of two 40-story high-rise towers as part of a revitalization plan adjacent to the JR Okayama bullet train station.
- Kinshicho Mixed-use project, Tokyo, Japan. Site planning and architectural design for a 4-story retail podium, a 40-story residential tower, and a 30-story office building totaling over 2.8 million SF of new development in a centrally located district within Tokyo Metro Area. Opened in March 2006. International Council of Shopping Centers Merit Award 2007
- El Espino, mixed-use master plan and conceptual design, San Salvador, El Salvador.
- Mitsui Fudosan Kasumigaseki Building Renovation, Tokyo, Japan. Renovation of the commercial podium of the first high-rise office tower built in Japan. Located at the core of the high–profile government district of Kasumigaseki, Tokyo. Lead designer of the contract awarded international competition entry.
- Lotte World Mixed-use project, Pusan, South Korea. Site planning and architectural design for a high-rise hotel tower, retail and entertainment facilities surrounding a water entertainment park.
- Shenzhen Huaqiang Plaza Mixed-use project, Shenzhen, China. Lead project planner and architectural designer. International competition winning project comprising one super high-rise 50-story office/hotel tower, three 30-story residential towers, one 6-story retail podium and 3 basement parking garage levels. 2.5 million SF of new construction in the center of the special economic zone of Shenzhen, a satellite city near Hong Kong. International architectural design competition organized by Huaquiang Holdings Group, a Chinese government-owned company.
- Zeil Platz Mixed-use, Frankfurt, Germany. Retail and Entertainment 4-story podium facing prominent Zeil Strasse, crowned with two high-rise office towers. AIA Citation Award 2000.

CONVENTION / EXHIBITION
- Osaka International Conference Center, Osaka, Japan. Built, opened April 2000. 715,000 SF / $540 million USD. Osaka Government facility. Member of the core Design team at Kisho Kurokawa Architect and Associates in Tokyo, involved in all stages of the design process, (Conceptual, Schematic design, Design Development, Construction Documents) lasting a total of 2 years from May 1994 until May 1996. Main components of the facility include a 3,000-seat multipurpose auditorium, a 33,000 SF exhibition hall, medium and small meeting rooms, and a special 400-seat VIP conference hall suited for G-8 summits. Structural engineering by Ove Arup London; Acoustical Design by Nagata Onkyo, leading consultant in Japan.
- Shreveport Convention Center, Shreveport, Louisiana. Built, opened in 2002. Conceptual and Schematic Design as Senior Architectural Designer at HOK Dallas.
- Coahuila Expo Center, Saltillo, State of Coahuila, Mexico. Conceptual and Schematic Design Proposal presented to the Governor of the State of Coahuila, Mr. Enrique Martinez y Martinez in 2001.
- Temporary air-conditioned shelter for the NASA Saturn V rocket at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. Texas Society of Architects Award 2004, American Institute of Architects Citation Award 2005. Lead Designer and Principal of RTKL Associates.
- Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Located in the Museumplein in the center of Amsterdam, the 55,000 SF / $14 million USD museum. Member of the core Design team at Kisho Kurokawa Architect and Associates in Tokyo, involved in the 6-month design process: Conceptual, Schematic design and Design Development. Opened June 1999.
